VOLVO COMES HOME!

The Holden Group is delighted to announce that Volvo has come home. Holden was the long-standing Volvo dealer in the county for more than 30 years until 2001, winning numerous customer care and service excellence awards. Chief executive Tim Holden says welcoming Volvo back to the Holden family is a matter of great personal pride: "As the third generation family member at the helm I'm delighted that Volvo, a well-loved and popular make in Norfolk, will be re-joining the group," said Tim. "Our company is built on a strong reputation for honest and professional advice and both existing and new Volvo customers can expect to receive the highest levels of service." The existing Volvo team at Inchcape, Cromer Road in Norwich, will remain in place until the end of August, when Volvo will relocate stock and staff to the new facility to be located at Barker Street, Norwich, next to the current Honda dealership.

 

MORE AWARDS SUCCESS!

The Holden Group is delighted to have recently been awarded the 5-Star Dealer Award by leading buyer advice website, UsedCarExpert.co.uk. The awards recognise best customer practice and fairly-priced stock among Britain's 200 or so major car dealerships. Just 12 Five-Star Awards will be up for grabs in 2011 and the Holden Group is the first dealer group in East Anglia to receive the prestigious award. Holden Used Car Sales Manager, Chris Rivett said, "We are delighted to win this prestigious award. The Holden Group is a family business that prides itself in offering a fair deal, real value for money and exceptional customer service. It is wonderful that an independent body has recognized this."

 

HOLDEN HELPS PUDSEY

The Holden Group has recently lent the BBC a Renault Kangoo van to help with it's annual Children in Need appeal. The van will help presenters and BBC staff get around the region to see what fundraising activities and events people have planned for the big event on November 19th. Phil Miller, Sales Manager said "The Children in Need appeal is such an inspiring event that helps disadvantaged children, so we are delighted to be able to help them out by lending them the van."

 

AWARDS SUCCESS

The Holden Group has been awarded top honours at the recent Motor Trader Industry Awards, winning the highly prestigiouos 'Most Improved Business of the Year' award. The event, held at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, is the industry's annual opportunity to honour it's top achievers. Presented to those companies and individuals who have excelled during 2009, the awards are the premier accolade to which any business serving the automotive retail industry can strive. A small team travelled to London for the event and the award was accepted by Tim Holden, Group Chief Executive. A delighted Tim said,"This is a fantastic night for the Holden Group. We have been recognised as one of the premier automotive businesses in the UK and this award is as a result of the great deal of hard work and commitment shown by every single member of the Holden team."
