All new MG vehicles need to be serviced at regular intervals. Each service should occur every 15,000 miles (or 10,000 miles for 16MY MG3 with Stop/Start) or every year - whichever comes first.
Every MG dealer is authorised to carry out service and maintenance work in conjunction with the terms of your vehicle's warranty. Your MG Dealer now also registers your car on the Digital Service Record platform, meaning that should you need to, you will be able to access the service history of your vehicle through a national database of MG dealers.
We also offer a Service Plan for all MG models, so that you can easily spread the cost of servicing your car over simple monthly payments.

GENUINE MG PARTS
MG Dealers should only ever fit Genuine MG parts, which have been designed and tested to our exacting standards.
MG Dealers will be happy to arrange a courtesy cars to ensure your experience is as convenient as possible. (These may have to be pre-booked and may be charged additionally).
A DIGITAL RECORD OF YOUR SERVICE
All MG Dealers should register your cars' service onto our national online database. That way we can see that your car is serviced correctly at the appropriate times and allows your dealer to remind you when your next service is due.
AN EXTENSION TO YOUR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
When your cars' service is entered onto our Digital Service Record system by your MG Dealer, it enables us to top up your existing MG Assistance with exactly the same great peace of mind cover you enjoyed from Day 1, for another 12 months**. And all the whilst you keep returning to our network of dealers, we'll keep topping up your MG Assistance!*

What is a Service Plan?
A Service Plan allows customers to spread the cost of their servicing over a number of years, by paying a monthly direct debit. You can also pre-pay for your MG Service Plan in full, should you wish to do so.

What are my options?
Our standard service plan covers our standard schedule service regime, set at 15,000 miles/12 months, giving you the option for peace of mind maintenance for up to 5 year/75,000 miles.
However, for any new car registered from January 2021 (or vehicles less than a year old and under 10,000 miles before the first scheduled service), you have an additional option. Our new Low Mileage Service Plan is capped at 10,000 miles per year and is aimed at customers who annually complete less than 10,000 miles. this therefore reduces the need to replace some components, which may not have deteriorated with mileage and can go to their anticipated age tollerance, and therefore makes the plan much more cost effective.
What is included?
An MG Service Plan covers the replacement cost of all scheduled parts, including the labour cost. Any items which at the time of servicing, your MG Dealer advises for replacement outside of the scheduled service items (e.g. brakes, tyres, wiper blades etc.) will be at an additional cost.
