The Kia Niro offers different charging times depending on the variant and charging method. For the Niro EV (electric version), using a Level 1 (120V) charger from a standard home outlet takes about 55 hours to fully charge, which is quite slow and best for emergency or top-up charging. A Level 2 (240V) charger, typically installed at home or available at public charging stations, can fully charge the Niro EV in approximately 9 hours. For faster charging on the go, the DC Fast Charging option can charge the Niro EV from 10% to 80% in just around 45 minutes, ideal for longer trips.

The 2024 Kia Niro offers a 253-mile range on a full charge for the Niro EV, 26 miles of electric-only range for the Niro PHEV, and a combined range of 500-600 miles for the Niro Hybrid on a full tank.
