Full hybrid powertrain
The Civic features Honda’s hybrid system, pairing a 2.0-litre engine with dual electric motors. In everyday driving, the electric motor powers the vehicle, while the petrol engine primarily acts as a generator to recharge the battery, eliminating the need to plug in.
The advanced full hybrid powertrain has three autonomous drive systems that deliver performance and economy: electric drive for silent, instant power; hybrid drive for sporty responsiveness and long-range potential; and engine drive for sustained, higher-speed cruising.
