Pure Hybrid Power
Unlike a mild hybrid, the Preludes Full-Hybrid e:HEV system can drive using electric power alone, delivering an instant response, seamless acceleration and efficiency, no need to plug in.
Thrilling Performance
With S+ Shift Technology, the Prelude simulates virtual gear changes for a more engaging drive, blending the excitement of a sports car with the smoothness of a hybrid.
Choose from three driving modes: Comfort, GT and Sport.
Full Hybrid Powertrain
The Prelude's next generation e:HEV Full Hybrid system combines a 2.0 litre petrol engine with dual electric motors for smooth, efficient performance. In everyday driving, the electric motor powers the car, while the petrol engine mainly acts as a generator to recharge the battery, so there's no need to plug in. The system automatically switches between electric, hybrid and engine drive modes.
Three Drive Modes
Choose from three distinct driving modes, each tuned for different conditions and preferences. The system adjusts key settings such as throttle response, steering feel, suspension and Adaptive Cruise Control.
Comfort Mode: Softer suspension and quieter performance for everyday driving
GT Mode: A balanced setup for smooth, responsive long-distance cruising
Sport Mode: Sharper throttle, firmer suspension, and enhanced steering for a more dynamic feel
S+ Shift Technology
Developed to enhance every drive, Honda’s S+ Shift Technology simulates virtual gear changes, combining the thrill of a sports coupe wit the responsiveness of a full hybrid. The system automatically selects the optimal gear ratio to keep the engine in its most efficient range, ensuring smooth powerful performance. For those who want more control, paddle shifters on the steering wheel allow manual gear changes, adding sharper response and a more engaging performance inspired sound.
