Vehicle Prep Technician

Job Description

As a Vehicle Prep Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring our vehicles meet the highest standards before delivery or display. Your responsibilities will include:

· Preparing new and used vehicles to manufacturer standards (manufacturer training will be provided)

· Carrying out pre-delivery inspections (PDI)

· Completing general mechanical checks and servicing tasks

· Identifying and reporting any faults or issues

· Working efficiently to meet workshop targets and deadlines (including working additional hours at peak times to meet the needs of the business)

·Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) – please note flexibility will be required as business needs dictate.

· Previous experience in a similar role or automotive environment preferred

· Basic mechanical knowledge and a keen eye for detail

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Strong work ethic and a positive attitude

· Full UK driving licence (essential)

· Level 3 – IMI Diploma or NVQ – Standard industry qualified technician
