The Honda CR-V e:HEV is a self-charging hybrid SUV, so it doesn’t need plugging in. Instead, the car’s regenerative braking system charges the electric battery as you go. However, the Honda CR-V e:PHEV is available as a plug-in alternative.

The Honda CR-V offers generous boot space, with a capacity of up to 1,634 litres from load to roof. However, the exact boot capacity of the Honda CR-V depends on the grade you choose. For example, the Honda CR-V Elegance has a slightly larger capacity than the CR-V Advance.

Both versions of the Honda CR-V e:HEV offer the same dimensions in the UK. The Honda CR-V Elegance and Advance grades have a length of 4,706mm and a width of 1,866mm. They both have an overall height of 1,684mm, along with a wheelbase of 2,700mm.

No, the current generation of the Honda CR-V doesn’t offer a 7-seater option. However, both the Honda CR-V Elegance and Advance grades can comfortably seat up to five people in their luxury interiors. You’ll also have the option of heated, cooling, and power-reclining seats for extra comfort and style on the move.

Rather than offering traditional 4-wheel drive, the Honda CR-V has an AWD (all-wheel drive) traction. With this AWD system, the car’s engine is capable of sending power to all four of its wheels at once.

The Honda CR-V hybrid has a maximum braked towing capacity of 750kg in the UK. This applies to both the Elegance and Advance grades of the vehicle. Meanwhile, the maximum unbraked towing weight is 600kg. Both grades of the Honda CR-V also come with a maximum roof load of 82.6kg.
