Honda has revealed a new compact electric vehicle, the Super‑N Prototype, showcased for the first time at the Japan Mobility Show. The model has been created to bring a sense of fun and agility to urban electric driving and will be introduced to select global markets, including Great Britain, from 2026.

The Super‑N sits on the lightest platform within Honda’s popular N Series ‘Kei’ range in Japan. Its bold exterior styling features a wide, planted stance, distinctive bumper shapes, and aerodynamic detailing that gives the car a sporty, energetic character.
Design
Inside, the cabin continues this theme with blue‑accented, asymmetrical sports seats and a clean, horizontal dashboard layout. The interior has been designed to enhance driver focus and build anticipation for the car’s responsive, nimble handling.
Performance and BOOST Mode
One of the headline features of the Super‑N Prototype is its new BOOST mode. When activated, it increases power output for sharper performance. It also introduces a virtual multi‑gear shifting experience supported by Honda’s Active Sound Control, delivering a more engaging feel behind the wheel. Dedicated interior displays and lighting effects accompany this system, adding to the distinctive design.
