The Honda ZR-V is a full hybrid, meaning it’s self-charging and doesn’t need plugging in. This is because it recharges the battery automatically while you drive, using the petrol engine and regenerative braking. Plug-in hybrids, by contrast, are usually known as ‘PHEVs’.
