Overview

A high-performance version of Volvo’s compact electric SUV, combining all-wheel drive capability with impressive acceleration and everyday usability. The Twin Motor Performance powertrain produces 428ps and can accelerate from 0–62mph in around 3.6 seconds, delivering strong and immediate performance when required.

The 69kWh battery provides a WLTP range of up to around 279 miles, making it suitable for both daily driving and longer journeys. Charging is straightforward, with rapid DC charging capable of taking the battery from 10–80% in around 28 minutes at suitable public chargers, while home charging can conveniently replenish the battery overnight.

Inside, the EX30 uses a central touchscreen media system powered by Google built-in, featuring Google Maps and Google Assistant for navigation, voice control and connected services. Navigation can also help prepare the battery for fast charging by conditioning it ahead of arrival at a charging point, supporting more efficient charging on longer trips.

Connectivity is further enhanced through the Volvo Cars app, allowing remote access to vehicle functions. This includes checking vehicle status and using pre-conditioning to warm or cool the cabin before you set off, ensuring the car is ready and comfortable when you arrive.
