Overview

A compact fully electric SUV that combines strong performance with everyday usability. The Single Motor powertrain delivers 272ps through a smooth automatic drivetrain, while the 51kWh battery provides a WLTP range of up to around 209 miles, making it well-suited to daily driving and longer journeys alike.

Charging is straightforward whether at home or on the public network. Rapid charging capability allows a 10–80% top-up in around half an hour at suitable DC chargers, helping minimise time spent charging when travelling further afield.

Inside, the EX30 uses a central touchscreen media system powered by Google built-in, with Google Maps and Google Assistant providing clear navigation, voice control and access to connected services. The navigation system can also help prepare the vehicle for rapid charging by conditioning the battery ahead of arrival at a charger, supporting more efficient charging when you get there.

Connectivity is further enhanced through the Volvo Cars app, allowing remote access to key vehicle functions. This includes checking vehicle status and using pre-conditioning to heat or cool the cabin before you set off, helping ensure the car is comfortable and ready to drive when you arrive.
