Job Description
Sales Administration and Accounts are both vital to the smooth running of a dealership. Sales Admin ensures every vehicle sale is processed accurately and efficiently, keeping paperwork, systems and customer information up to date while supporting the sales team. Accounts plays a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring invoices, payments and records are correctly managed. Together, the two functions provide the essential support that keeps the business running efficiently, protects profitability and helps deliver a seamless experience for both customers and colleagues.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of your training, you’ll learn how to:
Accounts
- Process purchase and sales invoices.
- Assist with supplier statement and bank reconciliations.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Help prepare payment runs.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Assist with month-end administration.
- Respond to supplier and customer account enquiries.
Sales Administration
- Process vehicle sales orders accurately.
- Prepare customer and vehicle documentation.
- Assist with vehicle registrations and invoicing.
- Update vehicle stock records and sales databases.
- Provide administrative support to the sales team.
- Liaise with customers, finance companies, and suppliers.
- Ensure documentation is completed accurately and complies with company procedures.
General Administration
- Answer telephone and email enquiries professionally.
- Welcome customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain organised office records and filing systems.
- Support colleagues with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Previous office or customer service experience is beneficial but not essential. Experience in the automotive industry is not required, as full training will be provided.
