The Electric Car Grant is a government incentive designed to make new zero exhaust pipe emission cars more affordable. It provides a discount on the purchase price of eligible fully electric vehicles.

The grant amount depends on the environmental band of the vehicle:
Band 1: up to £3,750 off the purchase price.
Band 2: up to £1,500 off the purchase price.
