When you shift into reverse, the Renault Captur displays a rear view of the vehicle on the central screen, complete with guiding lines to assist with safer and easier manoeuvres.
Lane keeping assist
Active from 40mph, the system uses the front camera to detect unintentional lane departures (without the turn signal being activated). It then gently intervenes with steering assistance to help guide the vehicle back into its lane.
Multi collision braking
In the event of a collision, the system automatically applies the brakes on the Renault Captur to help maintain control and prevent a multi-vehicle accident. By slowing or stopping the vehicle, it reduces the risk or severity of a potential secondary collision.
