Our New Renault & Dacia Showroom: Powered by a Renault 5!

If you’ve visited Downham Market lately, you may have noticed that our new showroom is nearly ready to open. We’re excited to announce that Holden Renault and Dacia officially opened on 27th April.

Formerly a Hylton Gott Volvo showroom, we acquired the building in 2025 and then relocated our Volvo dealership to our King’s Lynn site. This newly refurbished space marks an important step for Holden as we become the authorised Renault and Dacia retailer for King’s Lynn, bringing two fantastic brands together under one roof in a modern, welcoming environment designed entirely with our customers in mind. 

A new home for Renault and Dacia

The Downham Market site has been completely transformed to meet the latest Renault showroom standards. It’s brighter, more spacious and built to make your experience as easy as possible, whether you’re exploring your options, having your vehicle serviced or ready to drive away in something new.

While the finished showroom looks sleek and effortless, getting there came with a few memorable moments.

During the refurbishment, the team worked out of temporary cabins to keep everything running as normal for our customers. At one point, the site even lost access to electricity – but instead of everything grinding to a halt and letting customers down, the team found an innovative solution.

A Renault 5 stepped in to power the office. Yes, really!

Using just 28% of its charge, the car was able to supply enough electricity to keep the essentials going – kettles, computers and tools – for the whole working day. It’s a brilliant example of how advanced modern electric vehicles have become, and a real demonstration of our team’s dedication to customer service.
