Polestar Announces New Polestar 4 SUV Ahead of September Launch
Polestar has announced the arrival of the new Polestar 4 SUV, expanding its best-selling model line-up and offering customers an additional option within the Polestar 4 family. The new model is set to go on sale from 2 September 2026.
Building on the success of the Polestar 4 coupé, the new SUV combines the distinctive design and performance characteristics of the original model with increased practicality and versatility. Designed to meet the needs of a wider range of drivers, the Polestar 4 SUV offers enhanced storage solutions and everyday usability while maintaining the premium electric driving experience that defines the Polestar brand.
Alongside the introduction of the new variant, Polestar has further refined the driving experience across the Polestar 4 range. Retuned chassis components have been developed to enhance the vehicle’s sporty dynamics and deliver an even more composed and responsive drive.
The Polestar 4 SUV continues to utilise Polestar’s proven 400V architecture, providing an impressive balance of performance and efficiency. Rear motor variants offer up to 630 km (WLTP) of range, while dual motor versions deliver up to 544 hp.

Manufactured in Busan, South Korea, the new Polestar 4 SUV will be available to order in a majority of Polestar markets from 2 September 2026.
